I hear that John McCain is going to have a little visit with the Council for National Policy.
The Council for National Policy, a group with such a bland-sounding name that warning klaxons ought to be springing from your computer right now, is in fact "an umbrella organization and networking group for social conservative activists in the United States."
It was founded by the guy who wrote the Left Behind books.

I'm picturing a darkened gothic mansion on a cliffside, only with a giant fluorescent crucifix on top.
And perhaps, in the horizontal bar of the cross, a big countdown timer to the Rapture -- electronic, so it can be reset easily.
